Shah Rukh Khan is easily one of the most recognized Indian faces across the world and now the megastar is ready to feature on David Letterman's chat show.


The superstar who had set off for the U.S. on Wednesday, took to Twitter, to reveal that he had too much fun being interviewed by the legendary personality. He posted a picture with Letterman and wrote, "No more footprints...this is The Abominable Snowman!! Before BatMan & SpiderMan, there is Mr. LetterMan @Letterman Thx for ur generosity. Had 2 much fun being interviewed.Not becos it was about me but becos u were kind enough to make me feel I can be me. U r an inspiration sir."

David Letterman also posed with SRK for another picture for his own social media account.


Earlier this week, SRK had revealed his travel plans announcing that is he off to New York City to be seated in front of David Letterman on his chat show.


"Flying into another city that never sleeps... A great idea for someone like me. New York calling,” he tweeted.


As this marks the first time an Indian will be appearing on the show, fans are ecstatic to see King Khan represent them on such a scale.


The show has previously hosted numerous luminaries from around the world including Barack Obama, George Clooney, Malala Yousafzai and Jerry Seinfeld.
