Shahid Kapoor is in no hurry to sign his next project. The actor gave his biggest hit in his career as a solo hero with 'Kabir Singh', however he's yet to sign on his next film. Talking about his work mantra in an interview with a daily, he said that whatever work he does is important. In fact, he believes that his job as an actor gives him opportunities to not only play different people and look different, but also helps him to explore himself as a person and create different emotional experiences for the audience.

Shahid also believes that one should never be satisfied, and that the more work you do, the better you became. In his decade-and-half years in the film industry, he given memorable performances in films like 'Jab We Met', 'Haider', 'Kaminey', 'Udta Punjab' and 'Kabir Singh'.
Talking about his plans for the future, the actor is keen to do something that will be worth the audience's expectation and time. It's not important that his film need to be money-churners, but they, definitely, have to be good films. He feels that there is a need for him to return the love he has received from the audience.
