Justin Bieber, Hailey Baldwin confirm marriage on Instagram
Justin Bieber is too secure about relationship with wife Hailey Baldwin to feel threatened by her past. On Wednesday, Beiber took to Instagram and shared a series of photos of his wife. Shortly after he posted, her rumored ex, Shawn Mendes, liked a photo of her driving a car, which rapidly prompted the fans to wonder if the 'Treat You Better' singer was low-key flirting.
However, before anyone could comment or speculate further the 'Sorry' singer responded to the like and said "Their friends relax." While fans speculated otherwise, Mendes denied that they were ever in a relationship, asserting that they are just friends.
"Obviously Hailey and I are friends, and it was just really cool for me to be able to walk with her because she's a vet and it was my first year, so it kind of took the pressure off a little bit, No, we were not making our big debut," people quoted Mendes as saying. Mendes added that when news about Beiber and Baldwin getting engaged came out, he had texted Hailey and congratulated her. "That's what it is. I think everybody wants there to be more - there's not," he said.
Justin and Hailey, after exclusively dating for a while, decided to make things official and secretly tied the knot in a New York courthouse in September 2018. While they are yet to host another wedding ceremony for their friends and families, the couple successfully painted the Internet red with their never-ending social media PDA, giving all couples out there married life goal. Justin opened up about his struggle with depression in an interview with Vogue recently and even went to talk about his marriage to Hailey.
