Singer Astha Raut permitted to be in custody for four days (With Video)

Police have received permission to keep Singer Astha Raut detained for four days for the investigation. Raut surrendered herself at the police station on Monday morning, where Metropolitan Police Office, Kathmandu requested for extension of her detention, to the District Administration Office through a government lawyer.

Police have received permission to keep Singer Astha Raut detained for four days for the investigation. Raut voluntarily surrendered herself at the police station on Monday morning, where Metropolitan Police Office, Kathmandu requested for extension of her detention, to the District Administration Office through a government lawyer.

A woman police lodged a complaint against Raut at the Tribhuvan Airport security for being rude during a security checking process. Meanwhile, Raut reacted to the incident by uploading a reaction video on her Facebook account, which she later removed. CCTV footage of the airport episode has also been made public.
