HETAUDA, Aug 3: The identities of those injured in the Sumo accident en route from Kathmandu to Birgunj have been revealed.
On Saturday morning, a Sumo, Ma Pra 03–001 Ja 0362, had met with an accident at Sisneri, Indrasaror Rural Municipality-3 in Makwanpur. According to the District Police Office, Makwanpur, 10 people, including the driver, were injured in the accident. Most of the injured are Indian nationals. Among them, four people, including the driver, are in serious condition, while the remaining six are in a condition where they can speak.

The injured include Santosh Ranjan, 40, from India and currently residing in Nepaltar, Kathmandu, and has serious head and neck injuries. Ravshati Ansari, 50, from India, has moderate injuries. Saten Shah, 61, from India and currently residing in Sanepa, Lalitpur, has moderate head injuries. Apuraj Alam, 20, from India, currently living in New Road, Kathmandu, has serious head and body injuries.
Additionally, other injured persons include Jathir Mia Teli, 33, the driver from Birgunj, who has serious injuries; Pradiya Rai, 35, from India and currently living in Balkhu, Kathmandu, with moderate head and body injuries; Sunil Rai from Kuleshwar, Kathmandu, with moderate left hand injuries; and Anil Rai, 24, Sunil's brother, with moderate injuries to both hands. Mohammad Muslim, 22, from India and currently sesiding in Balkhu, Kathmandu, has moderate left shoulder injuries. Aushan Ansari, 22, from Adarsh Kotuwal, Bara, has serious head and chest injuries.
