KATHMANDU, Aug 14: A six-member task force has been formed in a bid to settle the intraparty rift in the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP).

In an attempt to resolve the intraparty disputes amid squabbling,  a meeting between the two chairpersons of the party, KP Sharma Oli and Puspa Kamal Dahal, earlier on Friday formed the panel including the party’s General Secretary Bishnu Poudel, Janardan Sharma, Shankar Pokharel, Bhim Rawal, Surendra Pandey and Pampha Bhusal.


General Secretary Poudel said that the discussions between the chairmen duo have ended on a positive note.
