AMARGADHI, Jan 22: Heavy snowfall in Dadeldhura, the district in the Far-Western province, has blocked transportation to seven hilly districts in the province.
No vehicles have been able to ply on the Bhimdatta Highway remaining as the major roadway for Darchula, Dadeldhura, Baitadi, Bajhang, Doti, Achham, and Bajura districts since last night.

Melkharka, Hagulde, Saun Kharka, Bhatkanda and Syale Bazaar along the highway have witnessed snowfall measuring around up to four inches. The District Police Office Dadeldhura said preparations are underway to clear the mass of snowfall with the help of the Nepal Army, Armed Police Force, and the Nepal Police.
This is the third time that the area received heavy snowfall this winter.
