KATHMANDU, June 29: Soaltee Crowne Plaza has collaborated with Idea Studio and Bir Hospital-National Academy of Medical Science (NAMS) to launch project ‘Samyog’.
Issuing a statement on Monday, the hotel said that the project is being launched to create a unique collaboration of a hotel and a hospital in order to enhance the clinically sanitized standards in hotels and aesthetical cleanliness standards in hospitals. Soaltee in coordination with Idea Studio has developed the training materials and manuals by sharing hygiene related documents and knowledge between the five star hospitality sector in hospital and clinical best practices in the hospital sector to hotel hygiene.

According to the statement, the goal of this project is to welcome every single guest with much higher commitment to their well-being, supported by enhanced standards of hygiene protocols and clinically sanitized standards of cleanliness in every aspect of rooms and hotel experience to ensure that they always feel safe and secure.
The project is a joint program of Bir Hospital (NAMS), Soaltee Crowne Plaza Kathmandu and Idea Studio Nepal. “It includes training, demonstrations, implementation plan and evaluations for training the hygiene team of Bir Hospital to enhance the hygiene and cleanliness standards of the hospital together with the clinically sanitized environment,” the statement said, adding that it also includes training on clinically sanitized rooms, restaurants and public areas certified by Bir Hospital based on the whole program approved by NAMS.
