BHOJPUR, Sept 3: A son has been sentenced to life in prison on the charge of raping his own mother.
Akash (name changed), 27, of Salpasilochho rural municipality-2 was sentenced to 27 years in jail for raping his mother (7 years for rape and 20 years committing incest), said Maniram Pokharel, information officer at the District Court.

A bench of district judge Harishchandra Ingnam heard this case to this effect. Accused Akash had been raping his 62-year-old mother from time and again.
Police had arrested the accused and initiated the case in response to the complaint lodged by the victim at the rural municipality.
