KATHMANDU, June 12: Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR), Agni Prasad Sapkota has drawn the government’s attention toward the crisis of chemical fertilizers during the major agricultural season and urged it to address the issue promptly.
Airing their views in the zero hour of the House of Representatives (HoR) meeting on Sunday, most lawmakers expressed their concerns over the non-availability of fertilizers during the farming season. In response, the Speaker drew the government’s attention to the timely management of fertilizers.

“My attention has been drawn toward the voices of the honorable lawmakers in regard with the deficit of fertilizer supplies during the farming season and I draw the attention of the ministry concerned and the Nepal government to the management of fertilizer ensuring the immediate supplies to farmers,” the Speaker said.
