KATHMANDU, May 14: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Dan Bahadur Karki has been appointed as the central spokesperson for Nepal Police.
SSP Karki, who is working in the Secretariat of the Inspector General of Police, Police Headquarters, has been assigned the responsibility of Central Spokesperson on Monday.
DIG Kadayat is new Nepal Police spokesman
The secretariat announced on Monday that SSP Karki will serve as the Central Police Spokesperson, tasked with effectively communicating Nepal Police's public affairs activities to the media in a transparent and factual manner.
Karki was given the responsibility after the Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Bhim Prasad Dhakal was promoted to Additional Inspector General (AIG). Dhakal previously served as central spokesperson of Nepal Police.
