St Xavier’s College announces theatrical performance ‘Jayamaya Aafu Matra Likhapaani Aaipugi’

KATHMANDU, Feb 24: Mokshada Theater, the theater club of St Xavier’s College, has announced its latest production, ‘Jayamaya Aafu Matra Likhapaani Aaipugi’ to be held from February 26 to March 2. 


According to a press statement issued by the institution, the theatrical performance will take place at Loyola Hall, within the college premises, offering audiences a chance to witness an unforgettable journey of courage and resilience. Set against the backdrop of the Second World War, Jayamaya Aafu Matra Likhapaani Aaipugi’ recounts the harrowing experiences of the Gorkhali Army troops and Nepali civilians as they flee from the dangers of the Japanese invasion in Burma (Myanmar). Their arduous journey to safety in ‘Lekhapani’ serves as a testament to the human spirit’s strength and determination in the face of adversity.

The play will be staged at Loyola Hall at 11AM from February 26 to February 29 and at 11AM and 5PM on March 1 and March 2.


The statement reads, “Tickets for the performances are available for purchase at the venue.”
