KATHMANDU, August 17: The Standing Committee of the CPN (Maoist Center) will be holding a meeting today as well. The meeting will start at 1 PM at the party’s Central Office in Koteshwar, Paris Danda.
Today’s meeting will discuss the conditions set by the Nepal Socialist Party and Nepal Communist Party Ekata Rastriya Abhiyan, which will be competing in the upcoming election of November 20 under the election symbol of the Maoist Center. In addition to this, the upcoming elections will also be discussed in the meeting.

A meeting of the party’s Standing Committee was also held on Tuesday. The meeting decided to allow the party led by Baburam Bhattarai and Bamdev Gautam to contest in the upcoming election under their election symbol.
