STC’s net profits soared 58.05 percent in the FY 2022/23

KATHMANDU, Aug 20: The net profit of Salt Trading Corporation (STC) increased 58.05 percent in the last fiscal year.


According to the financial report unveiled by the government undertaking, it earned a net profit of Rs 78.83 million in the fiscal year 2022/23. In the previous fiscal year, the amount was Rs 49.85 million.

With the increase in profit, the STC's earnings per share increased by Rs 8.59 to Rs 28.26. As of mid-June 2023, the company's net worth per share was Rs 419.60 and the price-to-earnings ratio was 173.38.


In the last fiscal year, the total income of the company increased by 10.47 percent to Rs 955.87 million.
