Sticker visa mandatory for Nepali citizens traveling to Indonesia

KATHMANDU, Nov 30: The Indonesian Embassy in Dhaka has announced that a sticker visa is now a mandatory requirement for Nepali citizens planning to visit Indonesia.


The embassy has said that new arrangements have been made as challenges have been encountered while processing e-visa through various agencies in Indonesia and Nepal.

The embassy issued a circular and suggested that all visa-related work should be done through the office of the honorary consular in Kathmandu, Indonesia.


Evaluating the errors in the e-visa application process, the embassy has also requested everyone not to apply for e-visa while departing from Nepal to Indonesia.


Chandra Prasad Dhakal, the honorary consul of Indonesia for Nepal, said that initiatives are being taken for visa on arrival when traveling from Nepal to Indonesia. He also said that the embassy and the Indonesian government have implemented a new arrangement to further facilitate the existing process for the convenience of Nepali citizens.
