ROLPA, Sept 27: Students of the Jaljala Multiple Campus have expressed dissatisfaction over the decision to strip the campus' affiliation with the Tribhuvan University and become an offshoot of the Mid Western University.

The students were enraged after an official signature campaign was launched without prior information as to its purpose and for making its use to seek affiliation with the Mid Western University.

B Ed Third Year student, Binod Dangi, said the campus administration took the decision without any discussion on the merits and demerits of scrapping the old affiliation and seeking a new one.

BBS First Year student, Bishal KC, shared that the students attending examinations were asked for their signatures without any information as to its purpose.

When contacted, Jaljala Multiple Campus Chief, Krishna Prasad Neupane, said the decision was taken in presence of an assembly of 200 students.

Meanwhile, an all party meeting in the district held earlier had also taken the decision to make Jaljala Campus an affiliate of the Mid Western University.

For the ongoing fiscal year, the government too had prepared programs with a view of making at least 10 campuses of mid western development region the affiliates of the Mid Western University. RSS
