POKHARA, Oct 8: Author Subin Bhatarai’s famous novel ‘Summer Love’ is being made into a film of the same name. The shooting of the same recently took place in Pokhara capturing the characters of Atit, Saya and their friend at a Dohori restaurant enjoying their stay in the lake city.
Muskan Dhakal, who debuted as a director with the film ‘Nai Nabhanu La-3’, has directed the movie. According to Muskan, the film crew will head to Norway for another sequence of shoot soon after Tihar.

Explaining the reason behind choosing ‘Summer Love’ for a movie, Muskan shared, “It is a challenge for a director to turn a novel into a film. The director must be able to do justice to the story of the book. We chose this book as it is popular among Nepali youngsters and has a modern story in it.”
Actors Aashis Piya, Rewati chhetri, Namrata Sapkota and Shisir Bhandari, among other, have performed in ‘Summer Love’. Executive Producer of the film, Binod Adhikari, said, “Our plan is to complete shooting in Nepal in 45 days and we will shoot in Norway for 20 days.”
