KATHMANDU, Jan 22: Nature-Human Centric People's Movement is going to organize 'Seventh People's SAARC Summit' in Kathmandu from January 24.
Discussion would be held on the environmental impacts due to climate change in the two-day Summit where some 200 representatives from Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Maldives would participate.
Youth Speak Forum to focus on SDGs
The representatives of participating countries would present working papers about the situation of climate change in their respective countries.
Spain, Canada, USA, South Korea, China and Japan would participate in the conference as observer.
Nepal Chapter Chairperson of the Nature-Human Centric People's Movement, Dindaya Rijal, said that discussion would be held about the reasons of climate change, its impact on SAARC region and measures to lessen the climate change in the Summit. RSS
