Sunrise Bank opens three branchless banking units

KATHMANDU, May 2: Sunrise Bank Ltd has started providing branchless banking service at three different places of Illam and Sunsari district. Issuing a statement on Tuesday, the bank said that the branchless units have been opened with an aim to expand banking service in rural parts of the country.

KATHMANDU, May 2: Sunrise Bank Ltd has started providing branchless banking service at three different places of Illam and Sunsari district. Issuing a statement on Tuesday, the bank said that the branchless units have been opened with an aim to expand banking service in rural parts of the country.


“Customers can use the branchless banking service by using ATM card and thumb print. With these, the total number of branchless banking units throughout the country has reached 16,” the statement added.

The bank has been serving customers through 69 branch offices, 78 ATM outlets and 16 branchless banking units.
