Dissatisfied with the tender process, Chitwan Driving School filed a case at the Supreme Court on July 4. Test use of the driver's license was being prepared for the first time in Chitwan. After having invited the tenders for the licensing process, preparations were being made to forward 11 financial proposals today. However, after the Supreme Court's order, the Transportation Management Office stopped all work.

The court has also asked the office to submit a written reply to the province’s chief attorney within 15 days. When proposing the program, the Transportation Management Office had set the standard that the trial centers should be within 200 meters of the main highway. The Supreme Court has also deemed the criterion as unjustified.

The Transportation Management Office was about to take an experimental test through the private sector. After inviting the tenders, Mahalakshmi Trial Center and Sadguru Driving Center were selected for the evaluation of the technical proposal.
