Surya Nepal donates Rs 14 million to help earthquake victims

KATHMANDU: Surya Nepal Pvt Ltd has provided Rs 14 million to the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund under its Corporate Social Responsibility. This amount will be used to assist those affected by the recent earthquake in Jajarkot, Rukum, and nearby areas.

KATHMANDU: Surya Nepal Pvt Ltd has provided Rs 14 million to the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund under its Corporate Social Responsibility. This amount will be used to assist those affected by the recent earthquake in Jajarkot, Rukum, and nearby areas.


The company's Managing Director, Ravi Rayavaram, along with Vice President Ravi KC, Bikas Bhutra, Dipra Lahiri, and Finance Manager Prem Aryal handed over Rs 10 million to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal urging him to send the amount directly to the disaster relief fund.

In addition to the financial support, the company has also sent food, tarpaulins, and blankets worth Rs 3.5 million to Jajarkot to assist the earthquake victims.


Furthermore, Surya Nepal Pvt Ltd donated Rs 500,000 worth of medicines to the rescue team from Bir Hospital, which is on its way to the affected area.
