Surya Nepal supports Nepali Army's ‘Safa Himal Abhiyan 2023’

KATHMANDU, Feb 9: The Nepali Army (NA) is set to conduct a "Safa Himal Abhiyan 2023" in accordance with the objective of protecting biological diversity and the environment.

KATHMANDU, Feb 9: The Nepali Army (NA) is set to conduct a "Safa Himal Abhiyan 2023" in accordance with the objective of protecting biological diversity and the environment.


Surya Nepal Pvt Ltd has partnered with the NA and the non-governmental organization "Center for Research and Sustainable Development, Nepal" in this campaign and will contribute Rs 10 million to complete the campaign as part of its social responsibility. Under this campaign, the aim is to clean the world's highest peak Everest and other mountains including Mt Annapurna and Mt Lhotse .

During a program on Tuesday, a tripartite agreement was signed between the NA, Surya Nepal and Center for Research and Sustainable Development, Nepal to support the "Safa Himal Abhiyan 2023".


The program was attended by Brigadier General Sundar Kumar Pandey, Lieutenant Colonel Kishor Adhikari, Anand Mishra of Center for Research and Sustainable Development, Nepal, Ravi K Raivaram, Managing Director of Surya Nepal Private Limited and Prem Narayan Aryal, Manager.
