After Chaudhary's death, the relatives protested against the hospital, demanding proper compensation and action against the doctor. They demanded that Rs 10 million should be given as compensation. An agreement was reached on Monday night for Rs 2.2 million.
According to the sources of the hospital, late at night, an agreement was reached between the victim’s family and the hospital for compensation of Rs 2.2 million. After receiving the compensation, the family received the mortal remains of Chaudhary.
The sources said that the hospital has provided checks of Rs 1 million and Rs 1.2 million for son's education and daughter's marriage.
Rajkumar, the nephew of the deceased, has confirmed that the hospital provided the check. He said that they received the dead body after agreeing to recommend action to Dr Johnesh Tiwari involved in the surgery.
