KATHMANDU, Nov 3: It is prohibited to take photos, shoot videos and make TikTok content on the Singha Durbar premises without permission. 


The Singha Durbar security unit of Nepal Police has placed notices at various places inside Singha Durbar, prohibiting taking pictures and making TikTok content.

DSP Santosh Tamang, the head of Singha Durbar security unit, said that due to the recent increase in taking photos and making TikTok videos in front of the garden and VIP office inside Singha Durbar, such activities without permission have been prohibited according to the security protocol.


Stating that photographs can only be taken with permission, DSP Tamang added that the media persons were not prohibited from taking photos and videos during the course of reporting.


DSP Tamang said, “VIPs keep arriving back and forth in front of the country's main administrative center. Anyone visiting the offices of the ministers and prime minister are found taking photos, shooting videos and making TikTok contents.”
