Taskforce panels submit reports to unification coordination committee

KATHMANDU, April 3: The two task force committees have submitted the reports to the chairpersons of Party Unification Coordination Committee today. 


The political document drafting committee and statute drafting committee have submitted the reports to the CPN-UML Chairman and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Puspa Kamal Dahal at the Prime Minister’s residence, Baluwatar.

UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal and CPN (Maoist Center) senior leader Ram Bahadur Thapa Badal were the coordinators of both the taskforce committees. 


The report prepared by the concerned task force committee is dwelled upon in the meeting. 


The task force on the interim statute and ideological issues constituted by the committee has already prepared its report and it will be discussed in the meeting, said UML leader and Foreign Minister Pradip Gyawali. 


Following a decision by the unification committee, preparations are on to declare the unification by the third week of this month.
