Temperatures drops across the country, including Kathmandu

KATHMANDU, Nov 10: The temperature has dropped across the country, including the Kathmandu Valley. The minimum temperature in Kathmandu today has been measured at 9.9 degrees Celsius.

KATHMANDU, Nov 10: The temperature has dropped across the country, including the Kathmandu Valley. The minimum temperature in Kathmandu today has been measured at 9.9 degrees Celsius.


According to Manju Basi, a meteorologist at the Department Of Hydrology and Meteorology, the temperature is decreasing across the country. Even though it is sunny all day long, it has been felt that cold has increased in the morning and evening. “There is no immediate possibility of rain,” Basi said. Similarly, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, winter begins with the influence of western winds in the Nepali atmosphere.

Currently, it’s partly cloudy in the hilly parts of the country while the weather of the rest of the country is clear. Similarly, partly to moderate cloud cover in Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and generally clear weather in the rest of the provinces in the afternoon is predicted.


Likewise, according to the latest details of the Meteorological Forecast Division, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley today is 9.0 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is 24.0 degrees Celsius. While Jumla has recorded the lowest temperature of minus two degree Celsius, Janakpur has recorded the highest temperature of 31.5 degrees Celsius.
