KIMATHANKA, April 8: Thanks to timely printing and a smooth supply system in place, textbooks arrived before the beginning of the new academic year in Sankhuwasabha district.
Unlike in the past when the school children and teachers had to wait desperately for months even after the beginning of the new academic year, the arrival of books on time has left both students and parents happy.
This govt school has two teachers, four students
Local stationeries have been supplying books to the schools located in remote areas.
They informed that rural schools had already got the books. Stationers at Khandbari informed that they had begun selling books to the community schools by establishing a sales center.
A stationery owner and entrepreneur Krishna Bhandari said more than 60 percent textbooks were sold so far. The sales stalls were set up with collective investment.
Remaining schools were also getting consignments.
It is believed every student would get new books before the New Year this time in the district.
