Gautam, who spoke from his seat due to health problems, termed the election alliances, power alliances and votes of confidence between political parties as “quakes”. He however said it was a wrong political exercise.

In the last local level elections, there was a tendency to go for re-elections by forming alliances. The election of 2017 was also held in the same way. This is the second incident in the House of Representatives elections. “To go to the election by forming an alliance and also to run the government. If that is the case, what difference does it make even if we form one party?” Gautam said, “People would not be able to distinguish which party works on the agenda, which party is right and which is wrong”.

He also congratulated Prime Minister Dahal. Gautam also thanked Nepali Congress Chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba.
