KATHMANDU, July 15: Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center), Pushpa Kamal Dahal, who is going to India at the invitation of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Jagat Prakash Nadda, has said that the purpose of Arzu Deuba and his visit to India is not the same.

While the Prime Minister's wife Arzu Deuba is also on a visit to India, the visit of  Dahal– another top leader of the ruling alliance–  around the same time is seen with much interest.

“We may meet in Delhi,” he told reporters at the Tribhuvan International Airport before leaving for India. "But the purpose of our visit is different." He described his visit as a "goodwill visit" and said it was not accidental.

There is no relation between the Chief of the Chinese Communist Party's International Department’s return after his trip to Nepal and my trip to India, said Dahal.
