April 15: Devotees bring together the palanquins of over two dozen deities at a square in Thimi of Bhaktapur to mark the Sindure Jatra festival on Sunday. The festival takes place on the second day of the Nepali New Year. April 20: Malaysian Malindo Air’s Boeing 737 sits grounded beyond the TIA runway near Koteshwar as pictured on Friday morning. The plane with 132 passengers and seven crew members had skidded 40 meters from the southern end of the runway during takeoff at around 10:15 on Thursday night. No one was injured in the incident.
