There is possibility of opening a party, contesting elections and joining govt: Mahabir Pun

KATHMANDU, June 15: Mahabir Pun, chairman of the National Innovation Center, has said that there is a possibility of him joining politics. Taking to Twitter on Thursday, Pun said that he has been achieving success in a job where there is just one percent chance of success, and that now there is one percent chance of him becoming an MP. From this tweet, it can be understood that he is hinting at joining politics.

KATHMANDU, June 15: Mahabir Pun, chairman of the National Innovation Center, has said that there is a possibility of him joining politics. Taking to Twitter on Thursday, Pun said that he has been achieving success in a job where there is just one percent chance of success, and that now there is one percent chance of him becoming an MP. From this tweet, it can be understood that he is hinting at joining politics.


He mentioned on Twitter that there is a one percent chance of him contesting elections by opening a political party and joining the government. He said that the reason for saying this is the obstacles, bottlenecks of government policies and regulations faced in the research, invention and innovation campaign of Gandaki Province.

He wrote, “If the obstacles, bottlenecks of  government policy and regulations that I am currently facing remain the same in the campaign of innovation, research, and invention of Gandaki Province, then there is a one percent chance of me becoming a member of parliament.”
