RAJBIRAJ, September 12: Police today arrested three youths along with a pistol from a local market-based at Tilathi Koiladi Rural Municipality-4 in Saptari.
Ishwor Mukhiya, 24, of Sakarpura, Tilathi Koiladi-3, and locals Mahesh Mukhiya,18 and Upendra Mukhia, 25, were held from the local Jiri Bazaar, Superintendent of Police Mukesh Kumar Singh said.
Police retrieved a home-made pistol and its bullet from them during the police check conducted by a squad from the District Police Office, Saptari.
Meanwhile police said that security arrangements have been tightened up in the district in view of the third phase of local level election scheduled for September 18, according to Saptari's Chief District Officer Bhagirath Pandey. RSS
