KATHMANDU, Oct 29: Three people were killed in a motorcycle accident that took place in Itahari Sub Metropolitan-10 of Sunsari district on Friday evening.
Ojraj Luitel (30) from Morang Budhi Ganga-1 and Rajan Rai,40 and Shambhu Rai,32, from Dharan-15 were among those killed in the accident, according to the District Police Office, Sunsari. Deputy Superintendent of Police Raj Kumar Rai informed that the deceased were seriously injured after their motorcycles collided head on.
Three killed on spot as bus hits motorcycle
The accident took place when a motorcycle (Ko 4 Pa 1410) heading towards Itahari from Biratnagar and another motorcycle (Pradesh 1-02-041 Pa 4411) heading towards Biratnagar from Itahari collided head on. They died while undergoing treatment at Arya Neuro Hospital in Biratnagar, according to police.
