TIA making face mask mandatory for air travelers of international flights from Sunday

KATHMANDU, Dec 24: The government has made it mandatory to use face masks at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) area, citing a growing threat of coronavirus.

After the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) issued a caution notice regarding the safety protocol on Friday, the TIA authority has made it mandatory to use facemasks for the officials and other individuals concerned.


According to Prem Nath Thakur, general manager of the TIA, they are making face masks mandatory also for the air passengers of international flights from Sunday.
