Organize your clothes by category

A fast and easy way to organize your wardrobe is to sort your cloth by type. Tossing every piece of clothing you own into a massive fabric mountain on your bed will be a mess. Instead, separate your clothes into categories like pants, dresses, tops, outerwear, accessories, and undergarments. Then sort through every item in a single category before moving on to the next.

Placement is key

Store your most-used items at eye level, less-used items below, and least-used items up high. This way you can easily find what you are looking for and will be more convenient to you.

Hang anything delicate or fancy

Maybe you don’t have enough hanging space, so stick with hanging the obvious stuff. That means delicate items like dresses, skirts, fancy items like suits, and sturdy, structured pieces like coats and blazers. Hang everything facing the same direction, with longer items on the left and shorter items on the right so the bottom of your clothes creates an upward sloping line.

Use coordinated hangers

Use coordinated hangers for a clean look that will care for your clothes and help you stay organized. Wooden hangers are a more sophisticated alternative to the flimsier plastic hangers.
