KATHMANDU, Oct 28: Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Dr Ayodhee Prasad Yadav has said it would be impractical to have doubts and raise questions regarding the upcoming elections to the House of Representatives and State Assemblies as the Election Commission was heading towards that way by making all required preparations.
In his address to a concluding session of the two-day trainers' training on the election and security organised in the context of the upcoming elections here Saturday, the CEC said, "Entire managerial works have been started to hold the elections successfully on the announced dates and the EC urges all not to doubt about the elections."

"The respected Supreme Court has supported the EC and made it aware regarding the taking elections ahead and we highly respect it," the CEC said on the occasion.
Election and security are two sides of a coin and impartial, neutral and fearless performance of security forces deputed in the elections was essential to make the elections successful.
Also speaking on the same occasion, Election Commissioner Sudhir Kumar Shah instructed the security bodies to have coordination, communications, cooperation and exchange of information among the security bodies to conclude the elections in free and impartial atmosphere.
Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs Kedar Neupane directed the security bodies to assimilate the sensitiveness of the elections and to leave no stone unturned to fulfil the given responsibilities.
On the occasion, NA Chief of General Staff Baldevraj Mahat, Inspector General of Nepal Police, Prakash Aryal, Additional Inspector General of Nepal Armed Force, Prem Kumar Shahi and National Investigation Department deputy chief Ganesh Adhikari apprised the programme about security plans formulated by the respective organisations for the elections going to be held in two phases on November 27 and December 7.
In-depth discussions on eight topics relating to security and elections were held in the training which was attended by 63 participants including from the Ministry of Home, Ministry of Defence and all four security agencies. RSS
