Sworek, a new tourism destination, has come into the radar of multiple travel enthusiasts within a short duration of time. Located in Bhirkot-5, travelers are required to travel a distance of about 8 km from Adhikhola to reach Sworek. The destination also has road accessibility and is considered an ideal location for paragliding competitions. Local tour leader, Krishna Jung KC, stated that traveling to Sworek was pleasant even during the monsoon.
According to KC, the serene geographical structure and breathtaking views can lure guests to visit the countryside. “Tourists nowadays prefer camping in tents overlooking the green grassland,” KC stated “This place also provides solace from the summer heat. It is an ideal one-day destination.”

Chaya Ram Khanal -- mayor of Bhirkot Municipality – mentioned that the municipality was looking to promote Sworek as a tourist hub. “The drinking water accessibility was one of the main problems here, but it’s been long solved. We have prioritized on infrastructural development,” he explained.
The mayor also mentioned that the destination was equally popular as a picnic spot. “The flow of the people is more during winter. Hence, to make the spot more systematic, we are planning to build shelters. Apart from that, the municipality has also made a plans to start homestay facilities.”
