Tourist Information Centre launched at Thamel

KATHMANDU, July 3: Nepal Tourism Board and Tourist Police Unit jointly launched the Metropolitan Tourism Information Centre at Thamel in the capital on Wednesday.

KATHMANDU, July 3: Nepal Tourism Board and Tourist Police Unit jointly launched the Metropolitan Tourism Information Centre at Thamel in the capital on Wednesday. 


Director General of the Department of Tourism Danduraj Ghimire inaugurated the center amid a function.

Addressing the program, Ghimire said that the center was established with the objective of providing necessary information to foreigners visiting Thamel.


The center is equipped with online and hotline phone services to provide necessary information to foreigners.  Foreigners can get any information related to Nepal's tourism by dialing 1144.
