ROLPA, May 15: A woman recently visited the Sunhhahari waterfall in the tourist area of Rolpa and tragically drowned in the pond, resulting in her death. The District Police Office in Rolpa has identified the deceased as Chandra Sunar, a 24-year-old resident of Pashupati Nagar in Banke District, Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City-18.
She had gone to see the Sunchhahari waterfall with her husband and young son. Unfortunately, she drowned while bathing in the water. Chandra's husband, Umesh Sunar, works at the police station in the Powang Area Police Office.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Shyam Saru Magar from the Area Police Office Rolpa, a woman died while bathing in the Sun Chahari waterfall pool.
Her husband had taken their son and waited nearby. When the husband went to check on her after his own bath, he found her dead. The incident took place about an hour and a half away from the Area Police Office Powang.
The body has been sent to the district hospital for a post-mortem examination, and the District Police Office Rolpa is conducting further investigation.
