KATHMANDU, June 28: A child has died in a tractor accident in Gulmi district. The child died in the accident involving the tractor (Lu 4 Ta 2465) en route to Tamghas from Chhaldi along the Tamghas-Simaltari road section in Gulmi.
According to Shankar Pokharel, deputy superintendent of police (DSP) of the District Police Office, the deceased has been identified as Shiva BK, 6, of Malika Rural Municipality-2.

BK sustained critical injuries and was rushed to Gulmi Hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, doctors declared him dead.
Similarly, the tractor driver, Deepak Gotame, 26, of Bastu, Dhurkot Rural Municipality-5 and co-driver Raj Kumar BK,19, of Badigad Rural Municipality-19, Baglung sustained critical injuries in the accident.
They have been sent to Palpa for further treatment.
