Tractor accidents claim two lives in Kailali and Bajura

DHANGADI, Oct 22: On Saturday, two separate tractor accidents led to fatalities in Kailali and Bajura. According to the Sudurpaschim Province Traffic Police Office in Attariya, both incidents resulted in casualties.

In Kailali's Geta, an accident occurred on Saturday evening near RB Flour Mill, situated in Godavari Municipality Ward No. 5. A tractor with the license plate Se 1 Ta 7945 lost control, resulting in the tragic death of the driver, 42-year-old Ram Prasad Chaudhary, a resident of Ward No. 8 in Godavari Municipality. The co-driver, 40-year-old Bakhu BK, from the same locality, sustained injuries and is currently receiving treatment at Maya Metro Hospital.


Similarly, another fatal accident transpired on Saturday afternoon along the Safe Martadi road section in Ward No. 6 of Badimalika Municipality, Bajura. In this incident, a tractor bearing the license plate Sudurpaschim Province 01-002 Ta 6826 was involved. Regrettably, 25-year-old Bahadur Dani, a resident of Badimalika Municipality Ward No. 6, lost his life at the scene of the accident. The driver of the tractor fled the scene, and authorities are actively searching for his whereabouts.
