KATHMANDU, September 7: Protesting against the government raid on branded shoe outlets in the area, the Durbar Marg based retail outlets have pulled their shutters down on Thursday.​


The government had raided and sealed more than twelve outlets in the area on the charge of selling goods at very expensive prices on Monday and Wednesday.

The government team on Monday sealed Store One, Bentley, Puma and NIKE as they were found to be selling products at exorbitant prices and selling without bills. Likewise, on Wednesday more retail outlets including Labels Store, Reebok and Levis, Lions Style Enterprises, the Bossini products, Sulux Centre, Rado watches among others were sealed for conning consumers.
