Traffic chaos in Kathmandu Valley amid cooperative victims' protests

KATHMANDU, March 14: Traffic in the Kathmandu Valley has become chaotic due to the demonstration of cooperative victims. Traffic has been disrupted in various areas within the Ring Road.


On Thursday, the cooperative victims took out a protest march from 11 AM in five different places of the Valley.

According to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Office, the traffic around Ratnapark in Kathmandu has been blocked while the participants of the marches, which were taken out from various places, were going to participate in the program at Bhrikutimandap.


Protest marches were taken out from Jawalakhel, Kalimati, Shankha park, BG Mall and Siphal in the valley. Due to this, there is an impact on the operation of vehicles at the places where the marches took place. Similarly, vehicles going to and from Bhotebahal and Khichhapokhari have been affected as well. Traffic has been affected due to the construction of a stage at Sundhara Chowk for political events.
