Truck plunges downhill, passengers safe

CHITWAN, Jan 28: A truck veered off the road and plunged downhill towards the Trishuli river this morning near Fishling area along the Prithvi highway.

CHITWAN, Jan 28: A truck veered off the road and plunged downhill towards the Trishuli river this morning near Fishling area along the Prithvi highway. 



The truck (Na 5 Kha 7394) en route to Muglin from Kathmandu fell around 65 feet below the road at 3 am but stopped short of reaching the surface of the river, police said. 



Three persons travelling in the truck including the driver are reported to be out of harm's way, according to District Police Office, Chitwan. The incident site is located at Darechowk VDC – 9, which is 13 km north-east of Muglin towards Kathmandu. RSS
