KATHMANDU, Nov 26: Tribhuvan University Central Library has commenced round-the-clock operations to provide students with a more accommodating reading environment.
This initiative aims to foster a culture of continuous learning and support students in their academic pursuits.
After three hours walk to school, children have no classes
Sagar Raj Subedi, acting head of the Central Library, said that three study rooms of the library are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week for the convenience of the students.
Subedi said the library was requested to open the study rooms round-the-clock by the Free Students Union. These rooms were usually open from 5 AM to 7 PM.
“This will help students who do not have time to study during the day. The students have welcomed this decision,” said Subedi.
According to Librarian Bijaya Sharma, the library mostly sees researchers and people who work during the day.
