TU certificate equivalency service goes online

KATHMANDU, July 6: Tribhuvan University has started giving the degree recognition and equivalency service of the educational certificates obtained from other national and foreign universities and educational institutions through online medium.

KATHMANDU, July 6: Tribhuvan University has started giving the degree recognition and equivalency service of the educational certificates obtained from other national and foreign universities and educational institutions through online medium.


The University's Curriculum Development Center (CDC) has made an arrangement for the service seekers to apply online and pay the fee through the website for certificate equivalency service. The hassle of having to come to the TU’s Central Office in Kirtipur and apply for equivalence from different parts of the country is now over with the start of the online service.

Ganesh Chand, a Nepal army deputy colonel from Kanchanpur in the Sudur Pashchim Province, was the first person to avail this service through online use. He was handed over the certificate of equivalence by Prof. Dr Parasnath Yadav, who is Executive Director of the CDC.
