TU senate meeting postponed

KATHMANDU, July 14: The Tribhuvan University (TU) senate meeting scheduled for Monday has been postponed.

KATHMANDU, July 14: The Tribhuvan University (TU) senate meeting scheduled for Monday has been postponed. 


Bhim Prasad Shrestha, head of the TU Information and Public Relations Division, informed RSS that the meeting had been postponed due to the country’s political situation.

There is a problem in holding the senate meeting as Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal failed to receive a vote of confidence in parliament and was automatically relieved of his post and a new prime minister is yet to be appointed. 


The Prime Minister is the Chancellor of the university.
