KATHMANDU, July 6: Gorkha Brewery has launched Tuborg Classic -- a premium strong beer with Scotch Malts -- in Pokhara amidst an event held at Mount Kailash Resort in Lake Side, Pokhara.
Issuing a statement, Gorkha Brewery said it was highly optimistic and confident that it would keep up the momentum on being innovative. It said it expected this to be a growth driver in the market.

"Tuborg was first introduced in Nepal by Gorkha Brewery Pvt Ltd in 1990 and is the first international brand to be launched here," it said. In the statement, Gorkha Brewery said it had launched Tuborg Classic with Stronger & Smoother as a tagline which, it said, conveyed that it was a refreshing drinking experience to beer connoisseurs.
Tuborg Classic contained imported Scotch Malts for a stronger and smoother taste, it said. The company said a 650 ml bottle of Tuborg Classic with Scotch Malts had a 6.5% alcohol content and is available at Rs 310.
