Two APF men injured in attack by Indian sand smugglers in Parsa

PARSA, Feb 12: Two Armed Police Force (APF) personnel were injured in an attack by a group of Indian sand smugglers in the bordering Parsa district on Friday morning.

PARSA, Feb 12: Two Armed Police Force (APF) personnel were injured in an attack by a group of Indian sand smugglers in the bordering Parsa district on Friday morning.


The incident took place after the APF personnel tried to stop the smugglers from extracting sand illegally at Piparadi in Jirabhawani Rural Municipality-9, Parsa.

The injured APF men have been identified as Ayush Raya Yadav, 24, and Naresh Yadav, 25, according to Parsa police chief Bel Bahadur Pandey.


The smugglers attacked the APF men with shovels, it is learnt.
