DHANUSHA, May 13: Two persons were arrested on the charge of looting Rs 8 million in Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan City-19.
Police have arrested Janak Mahato and Shrawan Kapar in this connection. They were accused of looting the money by threatening a cooperative official with a pistol.

According to Dhanusha Police chief Bhuwaneshwar Tiwari, police have recovered over Rs 1 million from them.
According to police, an employee of Dhanusha Municipality-12 Raghunathpur-based Shubhashree Cooperative, Birendra Kumar Mahato, was looted by unidentified people on May 6.
